Hi

Seeing as i have my heart now set on a full sus bike i am "considering" selling my hardtail. I would like to know how much you think would be a good resale price. The bike is only around 4-5months old and has had numerous upgrades. I would probably be hoping for around £800 The bike new was £600 and has had £600 of upgrades

I wouldn't pay more than £600 for it. You can get a Focus Killer Bee, brand new with Reba forks and an XT crankset for only £50 more than you are hoping for.

P.S. Don't forget to read the rules
    S-works Stumpjumper FSR

I'll see you at the end.

You'll see me on the floor.

Wow see what you mean, the components are quite abit higher on the killer bee. I guess it looks like ill be keeping my marin then because i do love the look and feel of the bike.

PS: Its ok i wasnt going to sell it on the forum i know theres a section on the site specifically for it :)

    How i sold my bikes.
As a general rule for deciding a sale price for a bike you add up the total price of the bike, upgrades included, half that number then take off £100 per year for how old it is.
  • I know there is a classified section but I also need a steer first. I have a stumpjumper elite frame 07 with rear shock. It is only a month old and surplus as I upgraded to a bargain S Works pro carbon.
Does anybody know what I could expect to ask - and get for it. It is in brand new condition and a medium size.

    Benny.
