Geraint Thomas
Just back from Ghent. What a great day! We hounded the Barloworld bus at the end and were rewarded with a quick chat with Geraint Thomas. What a great guy!
He was a bit miffed at the crash (and broken seat) but I think he appreciated a little bit of Wales in Ghent.
He seemed like a really decent guy - level headed, a bit spaced out by finding Wales in Ghent, but hopefully he'll keep going all the way to Champs-Elysee.
Also said a big "hello" to Bradley Wiggins. He looked ko'd.
I was wearing a Lotto Predictor top during all of this - nice shirt, but wished I had a Barloworld top when speaking to Mr Thomas - felt so wrong in Predictor Lotto!!!
