Stuey O'grady at the prologue

Anybody know what O'grady was up to on Buckingham Gate at about 2ish . After talking to a woman and child (I guess myabe his wife) he picks his bike up over the barriers and climbs over himself and walks off. I couldnt see where to as I was hanging out of my hotel window, it just seemed odd that he would climb over the barriers in full kit including shoes
