what rear tyre

hi
i have knackered my rear tyre on my gt aggressor xc3, all i know is it will take some abuse on the road, as well as the tracks.
and today i notice a slash mark on the trye wall about 6 inches. (it's not penetrated through but will soon.

i have a tight budget as savings for baby stuff is a priority ,
i think i can stretch to about £30 for one tyre, is ther any recommendations

Depends on what the road / off road split is.
I do about 75% off-road and 25% road with Panaracer Fire XC Pro's, and they are grrreat!

the ratio is 50/50 to be ohnest, i was looking at the fire XC pro's they seem a good choice, hopefully they will be ok with my ride style (violent)

the panaracer looks great it also hepled me find another fault with my rear pads (the pad had fallen off on one side, hence so much fade)

i like them for winter "sports" great in the snow, but the fire pro seems to have done the trick, i can feel the bumps dig in (where as my old ones didint)

also got some more gt82 lube spray today so result all round
