seatpost coller size

hey guys

i use a 27.2 mm seatpost on my kona cindercone and so i assume need a 28.something mm clamp correct?!

they don't appear to make any smaller ones

    seat post size and seat clamp size are not really related.

    as it depends on the material thickness but as i guess you run a mech the seat clamp will be the same size as your mech band.

    It's usually (99% of the time) the same as your front mech size if you have one.

    There are some frames such as DMR Trailstar where the front mech size is different to the seatclamp size, but on most bikes it's the same

    And on your frame with a 27.2 seatpost, I'd be very surprised if your seatclamp size wasn't 31.8mm
