I'm always hearing how F1 drivers are the fittest sportsman on the planet and are pretty darn good cyclists too! Even the mechanics!

Phil mentioned one ex F1 driver yesterday but I forget his name.

Alain Prost? - regular participant in L'etape and one of the highest finishers in his age-group. A whole bunch of motorsports pros took part in a 'race' at the Goodwood Festival of speed - it was meant to a timed 2-up TT to the top of the hillclimb and back - which ended up being a mass race to the top because of the rain - apparently Jensen Button didn't want to ride because he was afraid he was going to crash - all of the others were calling him a 'wuss'
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Alain Prost was a legend. Bent nose and big hair stuffed into a formula one drivers helmets.

I remember being in France as a youngster he had launched his own range of "STYLISH" (i.e not very stylish) eyewear.

    Anyone ever buy any?
