New Pads...

I have bought some goodridge sintered pads to fit to my mini monos.
Problem is the pistons wont retreat back far enough to allow the rotor to fit. Obviously the pads are not worn therefore are bigger, one piston retreats all the way back then of its own accord travels approx 2mm, and one piston dosen't move at all! Causing the problem with the rotor.
I am guessing there is too much fluid in the system, not sure how they were set up, cos I bought them second hand. Could maybe bleed them.
But the stuck piston concerns me more, is this a simple strip-rebuild, or something more serious??
Bit of a long post, but help, my HS33s were never this much trouble!

not a bleed, just slacken the reservoir cap and push the pistons back. use something to catch the fluid."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Does that mean that there is too much fluid??
Also what can I do with the piston which won't move??0 -
possibly. if they were bled without the pistons being pushed home.
if one is not moving force it out a trouch and clean the side and seal and work it in and out to make sure it is free."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Jam the piston that does move, then pull on the lever to force the other to do so. Then clean an lube it. Don't push all the way out though...0

Cheers guys
Just thought I would let you guys know, problem solved!!
Got a mate to help me, after my fooling around lost all the dot 5!
Reverse bleed the system with a home made kit, the bleed them normally to remove the air, then got some pliers on the moving piston, pulled the lever and the other stuck piston just popped out.
Put a load of WD40 on the pistons, whacked the new pads in, in the words of Ramsey "mono minis - done!"
Did a few hills to bed them in, although they rub, seem to be working ok.0 -
Not sure about WD40, brake fluid is the best!0
