I go to angelsey with the kids quite a bit and always wander what trails there may be on some hill/small mountain that I can see in the distance. I have no idea where it is or what it is called but does anyone of any trails on the island?

Hey i wondered the exact same thing so i had a look up there a few weeks back and it wasn't brilliant its alot of work for not alot of fun to be honest. mind you i was on my hardtail and there was a very rocky downhill run from the top of the mountain that i didnt have the balls to try but if i had my full sus i would have done it. the mountain is called holyhead mountain. if you have a got a full suspension bike give it a go though but take your full face helmet too.....

I'm from the island and I think the hill you are on about is Paris mountain, an old copper mine (due to be restarted). That's the only mountain/hill I know of which is quite poor for bike entertainment yet nice for walks etc.

There aren't any real trails on the island. Normally go for Gwydir and the surrounding area, a bit further south myself.
