I just rode the Tour De France!
Well what an experience, got to just before Tower Bridge and as the last team car and officials went past, then nice copper said, 'yeah, just join on behind, I think the roads are opening now anyway' So on the route we go, all the way to Greenwich! It was mad, all the crowds were cheering as if we were in the tour. I think it was my Discovery top and a friends CSC one that helped, then as we turned off at Greenwich, people were looking and saying, where are they going. Just a fantastic experience. I am sure it would not of happened in France.

My girlfriend and I did the same from Rotherhithe to the start of Charlton. The crowds were immense and all cheered us on, there was lots of go on Dulwich shouts etc. Very good fun.0

My commute takes me down Constitution Hill right past where I watched the prologue. I rode down there this morning with a grin the size of London on my face, round O'Grady corner, onto the drops pushing hard and a cabby drove past pipped his horn and waved................ loving it.Hevipedal
