Now that the pace seems to have settled down a bit.
Is there a central place we may help and offer suggestions?

That way we may all feel we "own" the change/

I would like to see different colour schemes available
Avatars, but not pics in sigs
thumbnails but not pics in posts( i am on other forums where they just get in the reply with quote)

Other things that i am sure could easily be done.

Log off button from anywhere in the forum.

When you open the treads in new tabs or windows, the name of the threas is not brought up.. just URL.

Some way of easily bringing up the new posts (cf active topics) in that category. Say a button to the right of the category on the front page.

An easy way to look at which threads you have commented on (i am sure this is possible now (in fact i have done it) - just could be a bit more user friendly.

I still have not seen a single "quote" or "bold" work yet, and that is using the buttons at the top!

Logging off: There's a 'Logout' link at the top right of every page.

Thread name is right there toward the top of the page, in the title.

Active topics in category: good idea. We'll see if it can be done.

Seeing your topics: click on your username, click on 'find all posts by...' Not that hard, surely?

Quotes and bold etc - BBcode - will be back.

    jibi -

    You're in it!

You can do alternative colour schemes yourself if you have the Firefox browser. See this thread:

    http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... highlight=

But we'll certainly look at offering different skins - it's obvious some people really don't like white.

Avatars should be no problem; thumbnails in posts might be trickier.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I use the subSilver theme on the Clubhouse and the default colour isn't a white background. It should be really easy to change the colours of the scheme from the Administration panel -- I'm guessing that's what has been done to make it this colour!

    No it isn't:

    I'm blaming your end:
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/>
    <title></title>

    <meta name="description" content="">

    ;)
While we're talking about titles, until I can afford a monitor wide enough to display forty characters on each tab, can we put the topic title /before/ the search engine stuff?
So rather than as it was on MBUK:
Mountain Biking UK - MBUK.COM FORUM - [topic title]
where I just end up with a line of tabs saying "Mountain Biki...."
Could you arrange it so it says
[topic title] - Bike Radar [other stuff]
    please?
If you've already done this, thank you. As you can see, I've no idea what it's supposed to be doing, I just know it's not doing that.
  • Big Red S - Ah, now I see the problem with titles. Yep, I'll get that looked at, and the thread/site sequence too. Good thinking.

Okay i feel dumb.. i was looking inside the forum frame.. Thanks

When i do that it seems that to come up with the changes to profile page. Not my actual profile page... I will have a play. It would just be nice to have it as a button somewhere when i log in.. It is not an issue really..

    Thanks for speedy response!

How about a gallery section, so we can show off our bikes ?

( If I had a good one to show off, that is! )
