I am now glad that in my computing life that I have mainly been able to use the E drive instead of floppies, I'm am now realising how useless the A drive is.

USB booting isn't stable or standard enough for me to abandon floppies yet.
It's getting there, though - I don'f feel a great need to stockpile...0 -

Yeah, still need floppies for flashing BIOS's and stuff still.

Yeah, but few will. And some motherboards boot off some USB sticks but not others, or only ones that are partitioned in the right way or the right colour or something.
USB booting is far too unreliable for me to remove my floppy drive.0 -
