Rockhopper Front Mudguard

I have an '07 Spesh Rockhopper and I want to fit a front mudguard. The crudcatcher seems to be moulded to fit to a round downtube, but the 'hopper is squarish with cables crossed over underneath.
How do I get around this?
Do I need a 2-part motor-cross style mudguard to fit under the fork crown, if so, any ideas which make would fit best on a Rock Shox Tora 302?
