Hi Folks.
Been offered a Trek 8000 or Trek Elite 9.7. Really wanted a Trek 8500 but i'm told they are out of stock.
The spec between the 8000 and Elite 9.7 are identical apart from the Carbon frame on the Elite. Been offered the Elite for Euro 1850 (£1253) and the 8000 for Euro 1350 (£915).
Is the carbon fram worth the extra money? Any help much apreciated.
