Bottom bracket spacers

Hopefully this will be an easy question for you all.
Im transferring bits off a bike with a 68mm bottom bracket shell onto one with a 73mm shell and I've got a Saint chainset and stock shimano external BB which comes with it on the old frame.
I ran 2 spacers on the drive side and one on the non-drive side on the bottom bracket but do I need to remove one of the spacers on the drive side if I'm switching to 73mm bottom bracket shell ?
Soz about this, but I've thrown away the instructions which came with the Saint chainset when I bought it last year.
I'm a bit confused on which of these to follow as they disagree with each other
