I just started riding this year and got a Marin rock sprng, however my riding style is developing and I dont enjoy any of that x country stuff anymore. I enjoy hitting big jumps on the trails and downhill, but my aging bike does not.
I was looking at the Rocky Mountain Switch or a Norco shore 2 or atomic.
Could anybody give me any advice on these or other bikes I should be looking at (less than 2k).
ps the bike still needs to be able to go up hill...

do you want a hardtail or full sus, if it doesnt matter a hardtail whould probably be your best bet if your riding uphill a lot. norco do good bikes and the specialized sx trail sound good for what you like doing if you want a full sus , although freeride bikes are not designed to go uphill.oranges are the best
life is short, so live it all flatout!!0 -

What?
Downhill bikes are not designed to go downhill. Freeriders are supposed to do pretty much anything.0 -

When I say it needs to go up hill I just ment it would need to climb a little better than a Demo or a Bighit...0
