asked Mrs Noodley, as we are due to go out for a meal this evening...

"About an hour ago" I replied.

Was this the wrong answer? Does she expect more of an effort?

You did put your best shorts on, didn't you?
I'd rather walk than use Shimano

Spangly pink leather thong and luminous green braces?

What more could a woman ask for?

tartanyak, have you been spying on me?

OK, my desert boots may have a hole or two in them but I have on new trousers (£9 out of Asda this afternoon). And I went to the effort of putting on a shirt, maybe I should have ironed it but it looks okay.

Meh, you seem to have done more effort than the Yak does most days.

Frankly Noodley if you will go out unwashed and unshaven, wearing an un ironed shirt, Asda pants and knackered old boots it is amazing that you have a woman at all. Do you not care about you appearance or smell?

Phwoargh, Noodley's obviously a bit dirty (where's the bastard tongue-hanging-outy smiley when you need it? :x ).

The short answer to Drfrabjous' question is: pheremones.

    Here? :D

Hmm, that's a big cheery kind of smiley. It's a drooling, tongue-out kind of smiley that we need for pheremones. And cake.

    I like him though.
