Fitting Shimano Disc Brakes

Instead of buying from LBS Wiggle appear to do some mega offers on LX disc brakes, so couple of questions
1 - how easy are they to install for a newbie?
2 - what rotors will I need to buy as kit excludes these and only Deore or XT ones available on wiggle?
3 - Will I need to cut cables - front is 900mm and rear 1700mm
They are fully bled for quick installation according to wiggle site and my bike is disc ready and has marzocchi forks. Thanks
