Chain catcher for carbon frame

Hi all

I have a Planet X procarbon and was looking at getting a Deda dog fang to stop the chain mincing the frame if/when it drops off the small cog. However due to the shape of the seat tube at its junction with the downtube/chainstay it looks like a dog fang wont fit. Does anyone know if I would be able to fit a dog fang or anyone else have a procarbon and use something else?

Cheers

Carl

A properly set up front mech will prevent this problem anyway. The dog fangs are pointless in my opinion, just like the plastic spoke guards on cheap bikes to prevent overshifting.

You mean the spoke guards which T-Mobile have at the Tour this year? :D

Wierd innit. This is one pro fashion which surely won't catch on.
