emails for "watched" posts

I keep getting email for threads I am "watching"
Is this for threads I have started only ?

Can I turn this feature off somewhere?


I haven't clicked on the... Notify me when..... box under the posts

go to that post and edit your post to turn it off.

In my profile I have selected ..... do not notify

Under the post the box... Notify me.. does not have a tick in it.
