Looking to upgrade to discs soon and it's between Deore and LX discs due to price and some good feedback on LX's. Was wondering if there is much difference between models as understand both are twin piston, have same rotors etc? Deore are £25 more expensive at LBS fitted (£100). Cheers

If you ask me I'd guess they're identical in performance and only have cosmetic differences. I've only tryed the deores, so I can't be sure. One thing I know: without paint or stickers you couldn't see any difference between the two.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

There is no differnece what so ever in power
the lx and xt just weigh abit less then deore although its barley noticable.

in fact all 3 brakes are pretty much the same.

go for deores much much cheaper

i run deores with 180mm rotors and their great. :D
