Optimus does indeed look fantastic (saw the trailer at the cinema last night...)

In fact all of it *looks* brilliant; I am not convinced by the choice of director though - Michael Bay

I was tempted to torrent it, but it looks so awesome I don't think a dodgy dvd-r would do it credit. It needs huge TXH quality speakers and I'm off to the flicks tomorrow to watch it. Even the missus says she wants to see it.

Tell ya what, get your Transformers toys now and you'll be quids in at Christmas when it's the MUST HAVE toys to get.

Beatcha to it, realised last year that this was coming out. Six year old got transformers for his birthday and christmas.

we're going to watch it once the initial 'hooha' has died down. Him and his brother in their autobot shirts and me in my decepticon one.

I like it.
The plot is a bit iffy,but the effects and the action are mindblowing.
The transforming sequences and CGI are truly flawless.

Treat it as an action comedy for best results.

For anybody who's watched it, is the vioce of prime from the original series? Sounds like it.Class film though can't wait to see if there's a sequel 8)

can't wait for the dvd. when i were i we loon back when the origanl transformers was out i had all the figures. even optumus town where the rear trailer would fold out in to a docking station it was the bomb, well it was untill my neighbour got jealous i had more then him and dicided to break poor megatron. so i opened a can 'o' woop ass on him. he went crying to is old man. to cut a long story short i was dragged over to his house to say the famous " I'M SORRY". my butt still hurts from twenty years ago. aaahhh the good old days eh !!??

Looked on e-bay tother day and some of the transformers toys from yesteryear are goin for scandalous amounts of dosh! The original megatron that turned into a gun was on buy it now for $500 :shock: . Wish i'd kept all my mine now

I have pretty much the whole first and second generation (Optimum prime, soundwave, starscream etc) of transformers still in their boxes with all the paperwork etc etc (I was a very careful kid with my toys) - there must be about 60 transformers, all original and mint condition boxed!

They are in the attic, I am probably sitting on enough to by me a new Yeti full susser!!!

I feel ebay calling!!
