emails from a so called buyer of your bike if listed in the classifieds. Dude says yes he'll buy it and want to pay by cheque. On top of that he'll sort out the shipping. What he sugests is that he sends a cheque that cover the cost of the bike plus the shipping and I have to pay it in and deduct the price of the bike and give the rest to the shipping company as they're moving a load of his stuff like furniture and stuff?
Does it sound dodgy? Like money laundering or something? Has anyone else had a n email like the through the MBUK classified section?

yes it is a scam. you dont get any money and lose the bike and any money you have sent.
