Should I keep my old bike??

Thing is, I am just finishing a lightweight XC (KHS) build and I'm not sure if to keep my old Avalanche 1.0 when it's done. I don't really have the space but I can make room if need be. I have SIDs on the new build and Recons on my Avalanche and so I could either:
1- Keep both
2- Just have my KHS
3- Take the Recons off the Avalanche and put them on the KHS when doing places like Dalby (you know, small drop offs etc.) and then sell off the rest of the Avalanche in bits.
My main concern is the frame strength of the KHS (Alite Team), especially when doing rougher terrain. I mainly do XC (mostly rocky bridlepaths) and that's why I started the build but I also do the odd drop off (2-3ft) and tiny jump (like a second of air). There is not much info on the net about the frame (I got it second hand). All I know is it's 7005 Aluminium (it actually says AN6 Aluminum on the frame) and weighs 1390g. I'm not expecting anyone to know anything about the frame but if you can help/advise from the info I have given (not much I know) then I will be very grateful.
Cheers

Always good to have a spare bike I think. Although if space is restricted Im not so sure.0

All of option 1 and a bit of option 3,take the forks off for heavier dutys and get a set of rigid forks and slicks on the avalanche and use it for road work.http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2370/222 ... 9237_b.jpg GT Ruckus I-Drive

Like carlos-G said, keep the avalanche for road work. I would just fit the slicks and use the lockout on the Recons though.0

Lose a good couple of pounds with a rigid fork though!http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2370/222 ... 9237_b.jpg GT Ruckus I-Drive

Cheers guys,
Hmmm, good idea with sticking some slicks on it and using it on the roads! I'm very tempted. If I did that I would have to get some rigid forks really. The headtube on the Avalanche is way bigger than that of the KHS so I couldn't really swap the Recons between bikes, well, unless I opted for the "dildo" effect! Not cool!
