Anyone use Rockshox Pike 426 Coil U-Turn forks(preferably the 07 version)?
Would you recomend them- pros/cons?
If no what alternatives would you recomend?

I am considering buying some

Got them, love them. Perhaps weight is the only slight drawback but rigid and reliable. The action is as good a Fox.

Weight is superb for a fork of that travel, a coil and price!
  • I got the coil u turn pikes to replace my psylos. The weight is higher than the psylos but the steering stiffness and general performance so much better. They are really relaible as well, 1 year on no leaks no problems. I got the remote lock out on mine which is great for those really long climbs or road sections. These forks have so much for the money, The u-turn and floodgate is such a handy feature for tunning the fork to your riding style. the damping is excellent, the Maxxle is so easy to use and the sealing is really good. They only gripe is that they say PIKE down the side

i have both the 426 coil and the 454 air. u-turn on both versions. t here are five staff members with them on their bikes aswell. according to one of the workshop guys at fisher (distributors for rock shox for uk) pikes and sids are the two forks they never see returning for warranty work.
are you getting the picture yet. don't ask just buy them, fit them and enjoy them.
