what genre is mtb video music?

i like the sorts of music you hear in mtb vidoes, roam is a good example, but what genre is this sort of american rocky sort of style called. it's not metal like kilswich, 36 crazy fists, it's not new pop rock like my chemical romance and it's not californian sunshine music like sublime. some is break beat but the rock is different? can anyone recomend some bands or name the genre so i can search on myspace music. thanks...JT
