After taking the top cap off to reach the internal rebound adjuster I have put the top cap back on but now there is a noticable top out noise. Is this normal for this fork? I thought more expensive forks like this were not supposed to macke a noticable top out clunk?

Cheers

Lessening the rebound can in some cases cause top out to be more noticable.

I didn't actually change the rebound setting as I realised the allen key I had was not long enough. I am wondering whether I have unsettled the spring somehow?

Did (can) you put any air preload in there?

    Did any oil get out?

In the manual it says to re-inflate to reccomended air pressure but there is no way to do this as there is no valve on this fork.

I can't imagine any oil came out because I did not turn the fork upside down.
