I don't believe it. I ordered a pair of 2.5 Minions for my Alps trip and the fuds at CRC have sent me a pair of 2.1 High Rollers. I wouldn't use them for XC never mind freeride/DH in the Alps.

I know I can change them but I'm off in the early hours of Saturday morning so I'll have no chance of being guaranteed to get them tomorrow. I'm a bit annoyed to say the least as I've got enough to without phoning up my LBS's to see if I can get the size, type and compound I was after.

Fuds!!!


BTW - Does anyone in the Edinburgh area have brand new MInions 2.5s - 40a front and 60a front that they want to sell at very short notice?

    Gutted i got sent resign pads once when i wanted sintered was not impressed about that :(

    Try phoning CRC now, they should be able to send out the right tyres now, with guaranteed next day delivery. If you pay for new tyres now, and post the wrong tyres back today/tomorrow, they'll give you the refund when they arrive back at CRC.

    So I phoned them... they apologised and will send out what I originally ordered guaranteed before 12pm tomorrow.

    I then got home and started to fit my new brakes, which I'd also ordered from them. The front went on fine and I started to fit the rear... a 180mm rear rotor, which is fine as I'd ordered it. However, I then discovered that the stupid fuds have given me a 160mm rear caliper however is just taking the p155. Fcuking useless.

    I can fortunately use the rear from my other bike but this further fcuk up is the last straw.
