What happened to links in sigs?


I am seeing the full code , no pics or single word links

when I click on Preview I see South America Tour etc
on the board I am seeing the full code

    no, if you EVER managed a forum image posting, when abused is the worst thing in the world...

    no need to be PC.. i've been asking for it to be disabled.

    I do, but we rely on the common sense of our members to not put up stuff that might offend. In 6 years we've had maybe 2 dozen cases of it happening.

    well that is a stretch to far for some people,

    already deleted 5 offensive photos and people have some SILLY sized sig mages.

    I'm glad the image sigs have gone. Some were far too large and made reading the flow of conversation more difficult and tedious, quite apart from making for a lot of scrolling. But I'd like to have avatars.

    Avatars are pointless and only serve to make the forum look even messier. Also less than ideal for those of us checking the forum quasi-surreptiously at work - stupid pictures make it look more conspicuous. Image sigs are crap for similar reasons.

    Excellent! Looking vastly better already :). Is it possible just to disable the command while restoring the useful BB codes?

    OK then.... I thought it was just me!! There was a post with broken links all the way down it, to pics I assume, and people commenting on the different pics. I thought it was just me.

    Either that or in some wierd Matrix-esque way, people were able to know what the pic was just looking at the broken url link!!! Phew!!
