Shipley, Bradford Club

Hi, I have recently got into Road cycling and was wondering if anyone knew of a club in the Shipley, Bradford area. Or if anyone wants to get together for mainly weekend rides or the odd one during an evening in the summer (when its not raining :D ).

    i go up to allerton periodically to see my mum and tackle the hills. next time will be the end of july i think. i'll give you a nudge.

    That would be great. I need to find some good hills to have a go at round here. If I am slow to reply to this thread it is because I am currently in Menorca on holiday :D Left the mrs by the pool and keep sloping off to watch TDF :lol:

    Not sure of the Shipley area but there is one that meets at Richard Dunn's Sports Centre at Odsal.

    Why not ask at Ellis Briggs in Shipley? If they don't know no one will......

    There's a road racing club called Bronte Wheelers which is Shipley based but I know little about them.

    there's a guy called colinj on the forum whho rides out of hebden bridge - he'd know all the details. he plotted me a good route some time ago, and also he knows a savage hill near mitholmroyd.

    I think it might be Cragg Vale, the longest continuous climb in the UK
