Hi folks, I currently have a hardrock (see sig), forks might get changed to pikes or something soon but right now what I'm looking for is a hardcore hardtail that's lighter than my HR frame but can put up with some abuse.
I've thought about the cove foreplay as an example, it needs to come in about a 16" size with 110-150mm travel. Price isn't really an issue, just give me some suggestions to look at.
I use it for everything from XC/ street and chicky 4x.

I would go for the stiffee, or the chameleon, the stiffee is best but then the chameleon is 150 quid cheaper. I have owned both and prefer the stiffee.0

second vote for either the stiffee or Chameleon0

Do it all whatever that means - Pace 303 or Orange P7 I'd say.Commencal Meta 5.5.1

I highly recommend the Cove Stiffee. Tried both the stiffee and the chameleon and ended buying the stiffee.

Neither are going to particularly like 4X.
My money would be with the Orange Sub Zero or the Chameleon. Both are excellent bikes that don't weight the Earth. See if you can grab a test ride though.0 -
biased (as i've just built one)
