It's lonely without you lads. Where are you? I can't go through a whole day without saying that someone is bonkers.

Do you want the loony left to reply as individuals, or get a spokesperson to reply on behalf of the collectivist whole?
I know this is a duff reply, but I am seeing if this new fangled thing actually works.0 -

It's a bit off a duff topic too - I was just seeing if anything works.0 -
If it is left to you capitalists then yes it will work. But it won't be a fair system and will only work for the richer people.0

Good point - the energetic and able will prosper while poor old redders struggles with logging on. Do we need to send a team of social workers round?0 -

He is possibly struggling with the fact that the colour of the forum has changed from red to blue.0 -
It'll take a while for things to be like normal. C+ was like a village and this is like a horrible new town development. A lot of it will need knocking down before it becomes habitable. AHA! Perhaps that explains their absence: horrible new towns were usually designed by right on pinko lefties who knew what was good for everbody else and who then lived in their own thatched country cottages.
OTH it could just be that Redders is having trouble with the buttons.0 -

It may be that the change has revealed the problem with old fashioned socialism - it's unable to adapt to anything new.0 -

Have you considered that when it comes to change, it could be that redders is actually very conservative?0 -

I think he's standing by a brazier outside Future's offices demanding the reinstatement of the old forum.0 -
Sorry, I was out smashing the state.
(actually I've been teaching. feel free to make the 'those who can't' obvious comment)
Argh, they've removed my favourite smiley-the devil face!"We will never win until the oil runs out or they invent hover cars - but then they may land on us." -- lardarse rider0 -
Patrick, as you're here, everything is clearly back to normal.

Phew - I feel better already! Actually, folks (and this is a serious point) I had a horrible feeling that my jousting partners might have not bothered to come across and I did feel a sense of loss. I really enjoy my tussles with the left and actually thought of them as friends who had gone missing.
It goes to show that you don't have to agree with people to like them.0 -
I wonder what ever became of NIEDERMEYER...
Andy--- Beware of \'all things being equal\' - because very often they are not. ---0 -
For myself, I think I logged out and went home at precisely the moment the boards were switched, given the time of the earliest postings on this new forum."We will never win until the oil runs out or they invent hover cars - but then they may land on us." -- lardarse rider0

To the obvious relief of all of you I found the new site.
Still finding my way around it though - seems a bit odd :?I AM THE STIG - HONEST0 -
Just returned from a 15 miler. Saw a stoat. Feeling a little disorientated by this new fangled forum. i initially went for a look in cycling+, and thought it was a bit dull, then i opened my emails and a kind person had alerted me to the changes and this new forum, which had slipped my attention .
Is this where people will be most of the time now? Is the other forum closing down please?
On the issue of conservative socialists, i've always thought that society needs to slow right down, the application of the emergency brake is essential. We are after all on board a running away driverless juggernaut.<font size="1">please look up to the stars.. </font id="size1"><font size="6"><font color="red">***</font id="red"></font id="size6">0 -

I agree entirely. Unfortunately, the other forum is closing down, so we're stuck here.0 -

That's capitalism for you - they buy a socialist version because its cheap and slap a lot of ads on it.0 -

I am missing his boring drivell0 -
If some one is clinging on to one end of the political spectrum by his finger tips, then everyone else seems pretty extreme.0

That's only because the bulletin board code has been turned off, presumably because of the rash of dodgy images people started posting. Hopefully they'll find a way of blocking images while allowing the other BB code functions to work.0 -
Staying a way might be a case of the loony left being a bit sensible for once. A bit of topic but this forum seems like a sort of half hearted prototype which is intended to be got right over, say, the next five years. Oh and some pompous prat in Cakestop has been boasting about how easy it is for them to bin people now. I'm considering shifting to Krypton's Cycle Chat place.0
