Mine would be both 1 and 2 - lycra is my work kit since I'm a skating instructor.0

I voted for work attire... but my commute is really short, only two and a bit miles. I can please myself as to what I wear to work though, there's no uniform, so maybe it's a bit of a compromise.0

None of the above.
I mostly wear old sports clothing , shoes , tops , socks etc , but I have a cycling specific pair of baggy shorts and at the moment I wear padded cycling shorts as well (underneath) because of ar$e ache due to increased amount of cycling recently.

All lycra for me - sadly there are no showers where I work so I'm constantly explaining the large supply of baby wipes in my desk drawer...Crash 'n Burn, Peel 'n Chew

Baggy shorts all year round, cycling tops, night vision jacket when needed. Cycling shoes, cleats etc.
So none of above. Not made the step up to lycra yet despite pressure from some famales at work. :oops:0 -
I just wear my work clothes. Polo top, jeans and breathable waterproof jacket. I do a 25 mile round trip, but I take it easy at an average of 13 mph, so I don't get too sweaty.

proper shorts, proper shirt (slightly loose) clipless and la de dah cut away gloves, first time I'd worn any of them, got them visit by vsit to the LBS#
all of them felt brill straight away, when younger I used to ride in any of rubbish, just the cycling socks to go now (oh and a proper hat, the currnt one is from 94 and not really correct and proper)
and some colder weather gear come the winter, I like bike gear0 -
Casual stuff as no uniform at work, small mercies and all that, short commute and no showers, etc.
It's just a hill. Get over it.0 -
It's lycra for me: I usually take a 30km scenic route (as far as south Manchester would allow for) and then shower at work. I sometimes get pretty strange looks from the school kids when I'm doing intervals on the Broadstone road in Reddish.Computer geek, Manchester Wheelers' member since 20060
