Halo Freedom Disc Wheelset - Any good?

Seeing as it is on Chris Smith's bike ( the white set is is signature set ) and they come in pretty cheap, what do people think about the Halo Freedom Disc Wheelset?

Strong? Reliable?

Building a 6"er on a budget and they do seem to offer the most bang for your buck ( in particular the 20mm hub out front ).

If they are not worth looking at, what is?

    All mountain riding...landing badly and all that gubbins?

    ( I ride in the Peaks, at Delamere and at the Welsh Centres mostly )
