I miss the old place. Maybe this will grow on us?

Are you trying to highlight the problem that already exists? We had a nice poll and all of a sudden we get a new version with an extra option but not a particularly good one. I demand we stick to the old poll....this one's too white.

The old one didn't have option 1 as a poll question.

Well I prefer the old poll...this one is too nasty and complicated :(

I preferred having links to images, rather than images all over the board. It made the whole place less cluttered. And that sodding advert on the top right of the screen covers up half of the top two or three posts on every thread on my computer. How do I get rid of it?
I don't know whose idea this was, but it was a pretty piss poor one. Sorry admin, after all the work you must have put in, but there it is.

The 'visual appearance' is certainly on the up! (No need for clever 'it's not the only thing rising' replies)

But I prefer (my) old forum.

Anyone esle suffering with 'Ads over post text'?

Yes. Also suffering with being unable to bamboozle the swear filter with crafty use of formatting tags. Hence my apparent regression to being nine years old in my last post. ("Wee wee" indeed.)

As for the pictures, we've only been here five minutes and it's already impossible to scroll down this thread without seeing the same four pictures about twelve times. It was a lot better as it was before, mods. Really, it was. This is rubbish.

T3 ad annoying...also (this may only apply to me) but I could do the old forum on my phone, on the train... this one's a nightmare of images, so no phone-forum action for me...
I'm sure (like cycling in a new area) we'll soon be whizzing round these parts, wondering why it ever seemed unfamiliar, but it sure ain't as purdy as where we used to live... :(
I haven't cracked the image thing yet, either... just get the url. Doing the thing too, but no result...but I do know how to change fonts, which is annoying for the reader

And that picture of the girl on the bike is exactly why I don't want pictures in the posts. The old way, I had half a chance of knowing from the post if it was going to be a picture like that, and could avoid having it shoved in my face.

No doubt pre-pubescent IT people think it's cool to make people see stuff like that if they don't want to. It's not that I'm being prudish, I'm quite happy if guys want to get all excited over pics like that, but I don't want to see it. I wouldn't want to see a picture of a bloke in that style either.
If I had a baby elephant, it could help me clean the car. If I had a car.

Also - forgot to mention (also not sure how to edit) that I like this poll better than the last one!!!

You've been in your job for three days and you're reading bike forums while your boss is around? Asking for trouble, you are.

....which is exactly the reason I'm so annoyed about the change...

Well one of them. I also think it was a bit rude to do it without telling any of us...

What do the baby elephants think?

Sorry guys, but the T3 ads were adblocked even before I read a post.

Can we have a poll on the most irritating feature of the new forum?
For me its a background colour that rhymes with shite.

    1. The forums should be arranged in some tree like structure so you aren't faced with 50+ of them to start with.

    2. The text windows are crammed full of //quote|yellow\font/what the heck/quote ww. in every one. Have the site not set up my options properly?

Thats all,,,except,,,why RACE and PRO TALK, same difference!
