Was just reading an article by Laurent Fignon where he stated that he felt Vinokourov or Kloeden are the likely winners......

Depresses me as i started to think if there could actually be a realistic chance of anyone winning who hasn't had their name linked to doping. :?

Cadel Evans was the only one i could think of?!?!

It would have to be someone young, all the old guard are tainted or don't have a chance.
    Schleck?

There's two of them? No I'm joking. I've been very impressed with both of them, but Frank has the advantage being the one actually riding the tour. He's not a suspect doper is he?

after reading the front page story about the professor thats written a whole book about sports doping I dont think we'll ever be sure of a clean winner again.

Drugs that have been banned since 99, that still dont have a test to see if its in the system, how do you stop people taking that other than catching them red handed.

And then getting riders to sign a declaration to sign away a years salary if caught and then not going through with it when a rider is caught...pathetic.

Personally Ive lost a lot of interest in cycle racing. Ill be cheering for Cadel, but other than that the only racing im interesting in is the ones Im sitting on the start line for.

Are you Pro Talk lads going to be joining in Pro Tour Pundit?

And I was considering Schleck as a possible for the Tour - and apart from the fact I can TT better than him  I reckon he'll do well.

I am looking for some good breakaway wins and an upset or two along the way...I reckon there are a few stages up for grabs for someone wanting to take a risk.

Up to afx I guess - as long as all the newbies don't choose klodi for GC based on his prologue outing, I don't mind the company...

No clear favorite for me yet. The first high mountains will weed out those who are pretenders anyway. I like Franck Schleck (cool name BTW) but he'd better learn to negotiate those wet corners first. A raw elbow or knee is not what you want on day 3. Remember Franck, "HAPPINESS isn't just around the corner, HAPPINESS is the CORNER :D
