Will it work?

Hi, i've just built my dirt jump bike up from scratch and was wondering:

A) can the seatpost be put into the frame at any direction?
E.g on most bikes i have seen the outward bulge of it points to the rear of the bike. Will it damage the frame or post in any way if i point it in the other direction? (tot he front of the bike)

B) should my Magura Julie leak small amounts of oil out of the top of the resevoir cap

cheers Paul

Why would you want your saddle pointing in the wrong direction? I must be missing something here.

No, although it's perfectly normal if they're slightly over filled.

Your saddle would be a bit uncomfortable if at a right angle!

Basicly witht he seatpost facing the "correct way" the seat pionts at an almost horrizontal angle but in co ordination witht he frame needs to be at afurther angle which cannot be achieved with the seatpost in the existing position.

By facing the seatpost in the other direction, i can tilt the seat at whichever angle i wish. Bettor for me in my opinion but will it damage any parts? - seatpost and frame??

    thanks for the quick reply!
