Looking at specs, the GT. The Blaze crankset just wont take any hammer on the MF.0

If you can get to Aylesbury then Buckingham Bikes have a few jump bikes reduced to clear, including a couple of own build Flow framed bikes0

the 400quid model of the giant stp aint half bad indeed<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"><i>Originally posted by JinjaNinja</i>

Out of those two, the Chucker is the best, but there are other good deals if you look around.
MAybe try and find a reduced Spesh P1, or something like that,0 -
Gears on the gt will work better, but the fork on the gt has less travel (not necessarily a bad thing) and no damping(that is definitelly a bad thing).
IMO, the chucker frame is really ugly, but I can't say the MF looks better.
This looks nice

but I'm not sure if it's available in the UK0 -
How does damping effect the performace?0
-
I agree with rocha. Also have you considered buying second hand as you will probably get better spec for your money.0
-
Considered 2nd hand but i've never had good 2nd hand experiences before so im a bit iffy about it (then again never bought a 2nd hand jumper so..)
General how good is the condition of 2nd hand jumpers?0 -

Ahh so its sort of like having oil filled shocks compared to just a spring?0

Basically, the oil is the damping medium. But some forks have oil baths purely for lubing purposes.0
