....for the infamous Giant creeking seat post problem.
I want to do away with the shim, but I don't know what size seatpost to use without the shim.
Its a Giant SCR2.0.
Does anyone know what size post I'll need? Presumably its one of the standard sizes, but which one?

Best thing to do is go to your LBS and get them measure it for you.

Hmmm....
Me: "I'd like you to measure the seat tube because I want to replace the seat post"
LBS: "sure, now which seat post would you like?"
Me: "Oh I don't want to buy the seatpost from you - I can get one much cheaper online"
Think I'd be taking the pi@@ a bit.
