Hi All,
I have recently set myself the small challenge of cycling from Brest, NW France to Morocco, via West coast france and Spain. A couple of questions:
1) Is it doable?
2) Is it worth going through Portugal when I get to Spain or is the better route through the centre of Spain to Gibraltar?
3) Has anyone here done a similar route before? If so, I would love some feedback and advice from you [:D]
I am very new to touring but am looking to do this as a new challenge and to raise money for charity. There's potential that when I get to Morocco moving down into Africa to do some charity work for the week,.
Look forward to ANY replies. Thanks

Look below
I did it the other way and through the centre of France to Switzerland.
The route I did through Spain was great. About 200km from the Med all the way.
Its doable.

Do the cycling, forget the charity work. Africa doesn't really need you.

Of course it's doable! We cycled down from Strasbourg, all around Morocco and we're still going. There are some great views. You can check out our site, but I would particularly recommend Torre and the park around it in Portugal (gorgeous views, among the best we've seen) and inland Portugal. Portugal is significantly cheaper than Spain in our experience. Don't know too much about inland Spain (the area around Jerez is nice) but the Med coast is a nightmare.
