Are these bikes built off the same frame?
Plus, has anyone got one? If so, are they any good?
The CAAD 5 certainly feels much lighter than a lot of more expensive bikes.
I've asked my employer to register with cycle to work scheme and if I get it I was going to get a discounted specialized allez elite as i've seen them on t'net for around œ700 to œ750.
The CAAD 5 is similar money and the R500 is available even cheaper so was interested to know what opinions there are on them?
The Specialized scores with a full 105 group but a tiagra/105 mix on the CAAD ain't really that different so maybe it's down to quality of frame.
Cheers for any opinions
