Fulcrum / Shimano combination

At the risk of sounding like a man with more money than brains, I've bought a set of Fulcrum Racing Zeros and fitted a Dura-Ace 11-21 cassette, using the (Campag) lockring supplied with the wheels as the Shimano one supplied with the cassette won't fit the hub.

Trouble is, the lockring is very slightly larger than the 11t cog so the chain won't sit on it cleanly. Am I missing something really obvious here?

Thanks

I'm probably wrong but I may have read somewhere that Fulcrum Zeros only take 12 up Shimano cassettes.

I bought some handbuilt wheels with Campag record hubs and a centaur 11-23 cassette last month. I had exactly the same problem as you, I went to my LBS and they supplied me with a smaller campag lockring for 11 tooth cassettes.

You need a different lockring for an 11 tooth sprocket - smaller diameter.
