Travelling through London

This afternoon I travelled through the centre of London, sadly in a car driven by my boss.
Can't believe how many cyclists I saw, and I felt so jealous - riding in London looks like a complete hoot! My boss thinks I'm insane to think of it as a playground. My "country" riding has such a completely different complexion.
Surprisingly few RLJers, but I can see how they are annoying - esp in the city environment. Have fun out there!
Edit 1: Oh yes, also witnessed a three way commuter race heading west from around St Pancras. Won by a lanky dude on a slick shod MTB, totally pasted the roadie and Brompton pilot (although I didn't think the folder had half a chance).
Edit 2: Eish! And I have no idea how you guys manage not to ride into things. There are so many rather fine looking ladies on foot I found it dificult to concentrate![:p]

Drove in via the East, left via the West...
The East was not very appealing.David

riding in London is brilliant, apart from the way it hacks up your lungs on hot days
if you want to see lots of RLJers have a look around the city on Moorgate or Eastcheap0 -
eish, nothing like giving away where you are from...0
