I have narrowed my next bike choice down to one of the following three:

Condor Tempo

Specialized Langster

Or Kona Paddy Wagon

Which one would be the best (in your opinions) and why?

Thanks

  • Condor, 'cos it's cooler, less common, great service from the shop, I just prefer it.

I've never ridden any of them so please ignore me.[^]

Edit: Also I'd try the Special Interest part of the forum for fixie questions.

I'm dead chuffed with my Tempo, but then I'm sure I'd be just as chuffed with either of the other two bikes.

The winner for me was clearances for full mudguards. I wanted an year-round commuting bike and raceblades just don't stop water coming up onto your feet, chainset, bottom bracket, etc from the front wheel.

  • Any excuse to show that pic isn't it Greenbank?[;)]

Have a look at it though thereisnospoon. Does the Langster or Kona look anything like as good as that - I personally don't think so.
  • How about the upgrades to the standard Tempo? Worth going for or is the basic model good enough?

Basic model is good enough although I did upgrade to Open Pros (because I know and trust them) and the Brooks Swallow moves to whichever bike I'm using that day anyway.
