I want to buy a new maintenance book and I'm considering either the Park Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair or the Haynes Bicycle Manual.

I haven't been able to compare the two back to back and was wondering if anyone else has experience of either/both.

Thanks

Haynes is good with basic advice and good pictures, also Bicycling Magazine's Illustrated Bicycle Maintenance (Paperback)is a lot more in-depth. Between the 2 books and the forum you can fix anything. I would recommend getting 2 books just to cover the different points of view.

Get yourself a Zinn Manual, good quality book and nothing missed, with a little added humour for those stressful parts
