Recycling the worn bits??
With all this cycling I'm doing I've got a box in the shed full of worn chains, cassettes, etc. Is there somewhere I can deliver them for re-cycling[;)]?

If you like making slightly surreal garden art, you could make one of these.

Toss them. failing that your local scrap merchant will take them from you for a feeRacing is life - everything else is just waiting0

worn out chains and cassettes, put them in the scrap metal bin. If they are not worn out keep them as a unit ie. don't mix them all up as they will have worn togeather and so must stay togeather.

Local council tip should have provision for scrap metal.
Scrap metal merchant will take it off your hands, but unless you have a lot (several kilos), i wouldnt bother.
Scrap is fetching good money by the way....the old sight of gypsies touring round in vans collecting has returned...but you gotta find him first.
