Mavic CXP rims

Does anyone know the difference between CXP 30 and CXP 33 clincher rims?

Mavic don't make the 30 anymore, so I guess the 33 is the updated version.

Weight weenies have the 33 as being 43g lighter per rim than the '02 30.

CXP30's were deep section - a full 30mm, whereas the 33's are much shallower. Lovely rims, much missed.

CXP33s were bomb proof - like Campag Atlantas - 30mm section and great for fixies - I've got a pair of track wheels with them. Alternative would be a Velocity Aeros - come in lots of colours too.

Another thumbs up for CXP33s - they've survived 5000mi of racing, touring, cyclo-cross, you name it!

yeah, the CXP33s are pretty bombproof, though did get one wasted by a van. still got three wheels built with them. i did have a pair of CXP30s on an old bike and they were decent too.

My current wheels got CXP30's on them and I'm very happy with them. There's a pair on Ebay laced to Goldtec hobs at the moment, btw.

got pair of cxp33 rims on shimano ultegra hubs, am selling the bike that they are fitted to at the moment.

I is quite local to bristol as i off jct24 of m5

Gaterz. Thanks for the offer but I'm after a cxp 30 rim to match the front wheel.
Jakob, tried that, they've only got a 24 hole rim and although I have the physique of a racing snake I could do with something a little sturdier.

Sorry - just got back off hols! It's silver, 32 hole rim. It has been built up but is still in excellent condition with little wear.
