Front gears
Hello,
If I alter the front rings on my bike to smaller ones, say, from 26,36,46 to 22,32,42, will I have to move the front changer bracket? I guess I'd have to shorten the chain a bit. I would value some help never done this before.
slow is good too

Quick answer, yes. You'll need to move it down a bit if you go to smaller chainrings.
When the front mech is in position to hold the chain on the outer (largest) chainring, the bottom edge of the outer plate should be approx 1-2mm above the tips of the chainring teeth.
