Been looking for new tyres.
Vredestein fortezza, Michelin PR2 or Conti GP4000?
Can we fix it?
Yes we can!

A vote for GP4000 here. People either love or hate them.
Better still, if you can cope with black tyres in 23c, go for GP4000-S - They're noticably better (I have both)!0 -
GP4000's - OK if you don't wanna go hard in the wet! PR2s are a lighter, more race tyre so probably the least durable. Fortezzas are OK, somewhere between the two but not a fantastic wet-weather tyre IME - pretty tough though.0

I think Fortezzas are awesome. Completely transformed my riding, especially descending, and improved my confidence no end. Also, very durable and excellent puncture protection too. Have used Michelin, Vittoria, Schwalbe, and Continental. IMO Fortezzas beat them all.
well, yes and no......but mainly no.

GP4000s or if you're really brave and want fast Gp Supersonic.Racing is life - everything else is just waiting0

GP4000's are light and fast, but I'm not convinced about their puncture resistance. I've already had one puncture since fitting mine, and they seem to pick up lots of cuts.

I notice on your Bianchi that you seem to have Vittorias, are they any good Bianchi Boy?

Never had a puncture with them. They just started to wear out (get a bit thin)
They were also about 100g more per tyre.

^^ They look like Rubino's? I can recommend the Open Corsa Evo CX 23mm as an excellent tyre - light, fast, grippy and sounds nice at speed! Allegedly, have a similar feel to good tubular tyres (as they are an 'opened' tubular in construction).0
