I've used a Platypus Hoser a few times, but just wondered if anyone had experice of the Platypus compared with Camelback, Deuter, and other makes. I'm not bothered about any 'rucsac' - just the bladder, tube, clip, and bite valve (rate of drink flow, ease of use, etc). The Platypus isn't bad, but sometimes you have to suck quite hard to get water - but maybe it's just the way I'm filling it - do you have to 'prime' them to remove any air blocks?

    Yeah - squish it all to get rid of all the air in it. Once you've done that you dont need to suck as such.
