Etape du Tour: Luggage Query???

I travel 3 weeks today (!!!) and I'm trying to tie up the loose ends, logistically speaking.
'The Guide' says:
"As is the case each year, a drop-off service (from Foix to the finish in Loudenvielle) will be available for one piece of luggage per participant."
My car is going to be parked at the finish so I hope that I might benefit from a small bag being transported to the finish. I could always take a panier [:D]
When I diod the London Marathon they had a few trucks that you could put a labelled bag in. This was then driven to the finiash and was waiting just after I crossed the line (several hours later!).
Has anyone used this in the past? How does it work exactly?
Many thks.

Did Etape du Tour last year and service is exactely as they state. Near the start they have a load of articulated trucks - you give them your bag and they put a tag on it with your start number. Into the truck it goes and then you pick it up at the finish - you have to shown them your number as evidence it is your bag. I used quite a big rucksack last year. Just a bit of a scrum at the finish to get your bag back0 -
big phil.
Thanks for that. Will entrust them with my overnight bag and hope it makes it to the end.
